The location is perfect - a few blocks from Union Square, with plenty of quirky bars (we loved Lost Cat!) and great little hidden gem restaurants like Million Thai right around the corner from the hotel. We felt perfectly at home taking advantage of the charming amenities in the area.

We held a team dinner at Tratto's in the hotel. The wait staff were attentive, and the pre-set menu was perfect. Thank for assisting in its creation! Everyone said the that their dinner was delicious, from the roasted chicken, to the made fresh pizza and pasta.

Initially, I hesitated to consider The Marker Hotel for our events due to its location on Google Maps, which appeared in the Tenderloin. The is a neighborhood in owntown, in the flatlands on the southern slope of Nob Hill, situated between the Union Square shopping area. I would say that the Marker Hotel is closer to Union Square than the Tenderloin. However, your invitation to visit the hotel in person changed my perspective entirely. As a nonlocal of San Francisco, it was great to have amazing customer service and reliable communication throughout the planning process. The excellent customer service is why I selected The Marker from the beginning. They answered all my questions (I had many) right away and made my planning process and breeze. The location was great a few blocks away from Union Square.

The hotel itself was great, conference rooms, hotel rooms and lots of different breakout areas to use. I would recommend The Marker for others looking to host events or even just a great hotel to stay in.
