Your Health and Safety is Our Priority

As the situation surrounding novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are monitoring the situation closely. As we all continue to adjust our behavior, we would like to put your mind at ease and share the health and safety measures we’re taking to help keep our guests and team members safe:

  • All Housekeeping team members service and clean/sanitize guestrooms each day.
  • All high-touch surfaces and high-traffic areas of our hotel and on-site restaurant are being treated with additional cleaning and disinfectant daily (including common areas, lobbies, elevators, public door handles, public restrooms, etc).
  • Hand sanitizer and/or disinfectant wipes are available, and you will find hand sanitizer stations located in the common areas for your use.
  • Our teams are updated regularly with information and protocols following guidance from public health officials and our government agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization.
  • Team members have been trained and we will continue to ensure that hygiene and cleanliness remain our top priority throughout every facet of our operation.
  • To adhere to social distancing recommendations, team members who perform administrative functions are working from home.

At The Marker San Francisco, our team is our family. As we continue to focus on prevention, please know that our team members are staying home if they are not feeling well. While we have always ensured that the health and well-being of our team members is supported through our existing benefits package and paid leave policy, we have enhanced our policy to cover any COVID-19 related absences. This enables them to stay home to care for themselves and/or their family members who have been impacted.

Given the health and safety risks posed by COVID-19, we ask all guests to review your local authorities' travel guidance and health advisories related to this outbreak.

For more information, please refer to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the US State Department’s Covid-19 site, or your local health authority.

Once again, thank you for being a valued part of The Marker San Francisco.
