The Marker Celebrates Union Square’s Award-Winning Holiday Campaign

San Francisco, CA – October 2025

The Marker San Francisco is proud to share that the ShopDine SF: Union Square Holiday PSA Campaign,  featuring The Marker as part of its festive storytelling, has been awarded First Place (Award of Excellence) in the Public Service Announcement Campaign category at the 2025 NATOA Government Programming Awards, held in New Orleans.

Produced by the City and County of San Francisco in collaboration with A.C.T. (American Conservatory Theater) and the Union Square business community, the campaign celebrated the creativity, culture, and community that define downtown San Francisco during the holiday season.

“It’s an honor to see Union Square recognized on a national stage,” said Brian Fenwick, Managing Director of The Marker San Francisco. “Being part of a campaign that captures the city’s energy, creativity, and connection means a great deal to us. It’s exactly what The Marker stands for: authentic hospitality in the heart of San Francisco.”

The NATOA (National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors) awards recognize outstanding programming created by local governments and community organizations across the United States. Competing with entries from across the country, ShopDine SF: Union Square was celebrated for its vibrant storytelling, collaboration, and success in highlighting Union Square as a must-visit destination.
